Texting in LeadLoop is relatively straightforward. You click on the button showing the text icon either on the pipeline or in the clients record and it will open up a screen to send a text.
You can send attachments or files here, just keep in mind that the limit for sending files over text is usually 5 MB or less.
You can select a template for your text by using the drop down on the top right hand corner.
This number is the one your text will be coming from. When they answer the text, it will come back here in LeadLoop.
You can set up alerts to be notified when you get texted, this is done in your profile. Selecting Email notifications will send an email to you when you get a text in LeadLoop, selecting text notification will send you a text on the number in your profile alerting you of the text in LeadLoop and providing a link to open it up and answer it.
As a note, if the number in your profile is not text enabled, you will not be able to receive the text notifications.
Another way you can see if you have a text would be to look for a red number over the Green Arrow on a pipeline record, indicating an unhandled communication from a prospect. This won’t always be a text, but it will be a communication that should be addressed.
